Our Valpolicella Classico Superiore represents the full expression of the Veronese winemaking tradition and the family's winemaking techniques. It is produced entirely from the native Veronese vines Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Oseleta in low yield vineyards at our historic estate in Arbizzano di Negrar, Verona. The grapes are harvested by hand and, after a long maceration and fermentation, the wine is aged for 14 months in traditional large oak barrels, then followed by a short refinement in the bottle.
Bright ruby red color, with intense aromas of blueberry, hints of cherry, licorice and persistent notes of cinnamon and pepper. On the palate it has structured and soft tannins, balanced by good acidity and a long and fruity finish.
