Vernaccia grape, produced in and around the Italian hill town of San Gimignano. The earliest recorded mention of the wine appears in the archives of record of San Gimignano from 1276. Since the Renaissance, it has been considered one of Italy’s finest white wines. It was the first Italian wine to be awarded Denominazione di Origine Controllata (DOC) status in 1966; in 1993 it was upgraded to Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita (DOCG).

Vernaccia stems from an important grape, capable of great results, and cultivated in an area with which Cecchi has a strong bond. The accurate selection and cultivation techniques have specific permission to exalt all the characteristics of the grape in a current. Perfumed and intense end to the taste is balanced with the right freshness, it is persistent.
