PRODUCTION AREA: Tuscany
GRAPES: 85% Sangiovese, 10% Merlot, 5% other red berry fruits.
VINIFICATION and MATURATION: The perfectly ripe grapes are picked and undergo red wine vinifica-tion with skins left to macerate for 12-14 days. Fer-mentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 28/29°C. The wine is then left to fine in bar-riques for 9 months and in the bottle for 3 months.
TASTING NOTES: The colour is a strong intense red. The cherry aroma is mitigated by spicy notes of vanilla and cinnamon. In the mouth it is well-balanced with a noble tannic note.
